Simit supports mainstream engineering data formats. Bring existing assets into Simit and exchange data with other tools.

Supported paths

• Simulink models: import structure and key parameters
• MATLAB datasets: read/write tables and time-series data
• FMU: run and co-simulate via FMI

Integration workflow

1. Import a model or dataset

Use Import → choose a Simulink file, MATLAB data, or FMU.

2. Map fields and parameters

Confirm block mappings and parameter names; fix missing items.

3. Validate and simulate

Resolve version/type mismatches; run a short verification first.

4. Export

Export results to CSV/Parquet; export an FMU if needed.

• Some imports require manual mapping; review the summary before running.
• Large datasets may benefit from downsampling for interactive work.
